Hi All, OEM means Original Equiptment Manufacturer, which should not be confused with NOS (New Old Stock) OEM = Parts made recently by the manufacturer who original produced it. NOS = Parts made back in 19XX (when the car was new) made by the original manufacturer and never used or installed on a car. ________________ OEM = Good, if the manufacturer did not change the specs. (cheaper $) NOS = Best, if stored properly (not rusty or bent) (Expensive!) BEWARE: some people will say a part is NOS when it is really just good condition when they pulled it from the car. Look for the parts tag, NO TAG - NOT NOS! Big Al awpresley@earthlink.net
