Uhm...I didn't see a smiley face at the end of your request so I'm assuming 
you weren't kidding.  There is no way in (fill in the blank) they're gonna 
make another air cooled vehicle!  Just look at the Super Beetle south of 
the boarder:  the US's emission standards make it cost prohibitive to 
export to the US.  Production costs will actually put the MSRP higher than 
$30,000 (unless they were to *mass produce* the vehicle).  Personally, if I 
can afford to plunk down +$30,000 it's gonna be on a Porsche Boxster!!

Any chance of them tooling up for some Type 3 KGs and Type 3 Notches, Squares 
and Fastbacks?  Mind you, if the tacho is $340, the complete car would be 
around $30,000 no doubt.  See if you can wield some sort of influence on this 
guy.
