Hi, Your problem is most likely an exhaust leak in the system. What happens is oxygenated air is introduced into a fuel rich environment and with the high exhaust temperature combustion occurs. When deaccelerating there is a partial vacuum within the exhaust system, thus air is sucked inward. With the engine idling, carefully move your hand around the usual connection places till you find the leak. Good luck, even the slightest leak can cause this. James
