Hi Folks In America, I just wanna introduce me to your group, so that you know, who I'am. My name is Bernd-A.Maus, I'm in the age of 35 and my profession is master-mecanical at a VW-garage :-). I'm married and we have a little son, called Enno, in the age of nearly two years. My first car was an Type-3 '71 SQB which I bought for 1,-DM ($ 0,70) in 1981. It took me five years all over Europe. Then my girlfriend went away and sentimental as ever, I sold my VW, because of the too many memories. Eight years I had "normal" cars, (engine in front - watercooled!, but in March 1994 I bought my 1600 NB as my "sunshine-car". That means when it rains it may stay at home and I take my AUDI 100 (in America AUDI 5000!) You see me now on an actual foto, taken in this summer at a camping-tour. The words in the foto mean: "Silence Now!" (The SledgeAxe-Man speaks). OK, that's so far for now. Best wishes from Germany B.-A.
