Re: Repy to List?

I'm not sure what you mean... I use Lotus cc:Mail at work (no home system)
and it only allows to reply to sender or all addresses (which would include
the type-3 errors). However, it does allow replied text to be appended to
the top of the message (like you are reading right now). Due to the length
of some messages I will delete most of the message and end it with an
ellipsis (...) to show that there was more to the message; this also helps
to jog some people's memory (like mine) about what's being discussed. I
don't have a problem (hardware or $$/disk(RAM) space) with long mail
messages but I know some people do and this is why they had to exit the
mailing list.

My three cents,

Volks,

Most of the other lists I subscribe to (and whihc use ListServ) have the
default set to "Reply to List" rather than "Reply to Sender". I find ti a
major advantage to reply to the list since one is then able to follow
threads. Even if I don't contribute to the thread, I often gain valuable
information from it and my mailbox becomes an archive of Type 3 info.

Anyone else have any prefs in this matter?
