Australian Type 3 tail lenses

Volks,
	Australian Type 3 tail lenses are hard to find in good condition 
even here! I can't recall ever seeing any Australian made lenses NOS or 
new for that matter so they could be hard to track down. Might not be 
too, never looked for Australian made lenses! I always buy very good or 
NOS German lenses from either friends interstate, the UK (Type 3 
Detectives) or friends in Germany. They aren't too expensive when you 
consider how old they are and how much new cars tail-lenses cost. What's 
the rumour I heard that someone is reproing the early Type 3 tachometer? 
Is it true? Very keen to find out as I don't want to use my NOS one!
