All,
I was a slack bunny today and went home at 11:00 am to work on
the notch. I decided to drop the oil and fix the oil leak before it
ruined the pavers anymore so after dropping the oil and cleaning all
that up, I pulled the motor out to find that it was the gearbox leaking
anyway so this weekend I will replace the gearbox seal. Better pull my
finger out though as I wanted to take the car for a spin on saturday
night. So anyways I have pulled the engine down to the long motor, ie
head to head and I am detailing it all up again. Amazing how road grime
and shit makes the engine look a bit average after less than 300 miles.
Oh well at least it will all be shiny and pretty for the next time out.
Also I orderred a ton of parts from the Type 3 detectives last night for
the T3 panel van I have been working on for ever now, including a fully
restored Empi GT steering wheel. If you ever need anything for your T3
give these dudes a call.
