A few questions

First off, hello to everyone out there in type iii world.  I hope that I
can be of as much help to you as you will undoubtedly be to me.  Special
thanks to the Kepners who were the primary inspiration for my choice of
fuel injection for my engineless 69 squareback purchased this summer. It
started the first try and has run flawlessly since (around my neighborhood
only so far). A few questions for everyone: 1) Instead of buying new
injectors due to cracked hoses, I sawed off the crimps and installed new
hose with screw tight clamps.  Is this a safe option? 2) My door gaskets
are goners and WCM prices them at around $190.00/pair.  Has anyone tried
Type I or other door gaskets with any success? 3) I need front fenders.
Any comments on fiberglass replacements? 4) I need a rear bumper and new
overriders for the front.  What's the cheapest option for a new rear and
does anyone offer replacement parts for the front?  I guess that's enough
for now.  Thanks again for all you help.
