I wouldn't cut up a good pan, they swap out and the differences are very minor and wont affect what your trying to do. I would swap the whole pan. Of course I hope the rest of the 67 is bad enough to warrant losing its pan... yea the 63 is more special but there ARE good pans out there to be had. Hello! I have a -63 Notchback with rotten floorpans that I need to change. Now I have bought a sparepartcar, -67 Fastback, with a solid, no rust floorpan. So my question is: Should I cut the -67 floopans, driver- and passengerside, and weld them in in the -63, or should I use the hole -67 floorpan an switch the front- and rear axle, transmission and so on from the -63? Any comments and suggestions?!?
