I use 10W40 in the Square with an older engine and 10W30 in the Notch with a yonguer one. Yea, keep the RPM down till the engine is warm, also check the oil pressure relief and control valve in the case, and make sure nobody has installed one of those oil pressure raising kits. Keith Subject: Re: [T3] Oil filter question Hi All - Toby, Kieth, Jim, Constantino ... Thanks for the comments. I checked the oil lines and there were not on backwards. Yes, we used an HP1 filter. I'll have to look at the Gene Berg fitting. Mine is a Scat and there is no pressure relief valve. I too was thinking about a smaller pump. What oil weight do you recommend for your T3? We're in the Pacific Northwest where it does not get that cold in the winter nor that hot in the summer. Currently, I have put 10W/30 in Matt's car. And I'll pass along the comment about revving a cold engine ...
