If the whole package is estimated to take more than two shop hours 
you're dealing with someone who a) doesn't know how to do it or b) is 
padding like crazy.

In any case this sort of work is far better done by you, as in the 
process you can see and evaluate all sorts of other bits. Sounds like 
the real problem is finding a slab of cool concrete somewhere. How about 
early morning?
