<x-flowed>Its one or the other. If it has the electro cut offs then you are ok. If you have no cut offs and deal with the basic "jet" deal then you need that back flow valve. Matter of refinementss to the motor. I myself would have the "modern" cut offs.

The carbs are 65, and they have the cutoff but that's just to keep it from
dieseling right?

If its of 67 era dosnt it have electro mag cut offs, eliminating the back flow deal??

In that case I have it in the Fuel pump, the Notch is running one of the
67
era VW pumps, and yea, I think it has a backflow valve in it.
