I heard that cars older than 25 years >(provided that they are kept in the garage and occasionally driven for >leisure only) can be insured at much lower price. >I suspect that many listees did insure their cars as antiques and will >be willing to hear suggestions about the companies and insured values. > >Kind regards >Ark Mirvis Apply for QQ plates through the motor vehicle dept. These are historic plates- low fee and no inspections for the life of the car. The insurance depends on who you go to. I'm in south Jersey so Condon &Skelly are in the next town over. They specialize in collector cars and hot rods. A year long policy was about $200- drive only to shows ,cruising and club meetings.( no grocery getting errands or driving to work) Good luck with it! -- John 65 1500S square (Weezer) 05 Jetta Just cruisin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
