RE: type3-d Digest V2006 #96

I looked, I don't have an S muffler but they do turn up and they are usually
about the same price as the late ones. If your still looking in June I can
keep my eye open at the swaps.

Keith,
The muffler I bought was a NOS (but slightly surface rusted) part #341
251 051, the correct one for a 64 1500S, ie with the integral upper
heat exchangers but no carb preheater tube that's on the single carb ones.
When this business with Billy is sorted out, if I'm not finally in
posession of a good spare muffler, I'd be very interested in buying
one. Do you have this type?
Rgds chris

entirely black, 3 dry/fluffy, 2 slightly wet/oily but just a much carbon as
3, 1 & 4 look just right...and this after only about one or two tankfuls of
gas since new plugs. Compression all within 110-120 range, warm w/o plugs &

cause looked OK dry.
>>So, my question is now directed at either the brain, the fuel injector

which I am imagining now reside in those two cylinders?
