<x-flowed>I just looked it up in my mid-seventies US-market accessory catalog. Those door edge guards were sold for all aircooled and watercooled models then. The one picture in the catalog shows a 411 4-door with them, but no comparison between the different kinds of edge guards.

If you can find the accessory number (starting with "ZVW"), that would be a good indicator. The kit for Type 3s was ZVW 165 103, whereas the 411/412 kits were ZVW 165 104 (4-door) and ZVW 165 105 (2- door and wagon).

I just bought some ill fitting trim for my notch. It fits in every way, but
its to long and the stuff is not meant to bend. Anyone have any insight??
