Yes, I was wrong on the 9 pints. It is 9 quarts on a dry automatic trans
and converter.
Remember, that when we are working our cars, they are typically up on a
jacl or stands in the rear, and not level. This puts the fill plug on
the lower portion. The one knuckle below the hole works well if it if
the car is level.
