RE: [T3] Is this a myth? Backwards side vents?

I knew I had these pictures somewhere. I actually posted them to
TheSamba.com some time ago. Here's a late model (1972) factory carbed notch
trunk
http://images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/208170.jpg
Here's a late model (1971) FI notch
http://images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/208169.jpg

Both are in my back yard.

I'd love to see pics of it, including the location set up for the FI brain.
My son keeps trying to get me to put the 2.0L t-4 into my Notch, but it
would
need the fuel tank modified. But some pics might get me motivated. :O The
pan
is set up for it, and the main wiring harness has the wires and plugs ...
Plus
the engine is set up for D-Jet FI, so it could be done, I was just planning
on
doing it at a later time (the FI part, but using a t-3 engine).

Bob 65 Notch S w/ Sunroof and IRS
       71 Square, now a 2 seat Roadster, pics can be seen at;
http://volksrods.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2977 and now awaiting a 2.0L
t-4 engine
transplant, finally have the needed parts : )
