Yeah but still I think if the rear lights don't work AT ALL there is something wrong with this theory. Of course, 1/2 an hour with a wiring schematic and a good meter would tell the tale! I would think that if the front lights and rear lights were reversed at the switch, the rear lights would go out when the headlamps are on while the front lights would stay on all the time...please be sure to let all of us know what the problem boils down to... Now that you've forced me to think about this a bit, I have to admit that you and Russ must be right. There must be different contacts in the switch for the front and rear circuits. As Russ said, switching the wires on these terminals would make the difference. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
