Re: [T3] Stalling issues

Hi Mackenzie,
Just to re-establish - are we talking about a twin carb Type 3, or fuel
injection?

If it's a carbed engine, sometimes it's as simple as a wire that's fallen off
the cut-off.

You can check if they're working by removing the connector and replacing it
while the ignition is on. You should hear a click as you disconnect or
reconnect. If you don't, use a testmeter or spare bulb to see if the wire is
receiving power.

Another common problem with difficult idle on twin-carbs is the rubber
connectors on the balance pipe - they fall off or sometimes split. That
introduces an air-bleed that weakens the mixture and causes it to stall. With
higher rpm the other carb feeds both intake manifolds.
