Hi Mackenzie, Just to re-establish - are we talking about a twin carb Type 3, or fuel injection? If it's a carbed engine, sometimes it's as simple as a wire that's fallen off the cut-off. You can check if they're working by removing the connector and replacing it while the ignition is on. You should hear a click as you disconnect or reconnect. If you don't, use a testmeter or spare bulb to see if the wire is receiving power. Another common problem with difficult idle on twin-carbs is the rubber connectors on the balance pipe - they fall off or sometimes split. That introduces an air-bleed that weakens the mixture and causes it to stall. With higher rpm the other carb feeds both intake manifolds. Dave.
