Electric gauges are Accurate enough! I had a friend that got burnt when the oil-line broke off the back of the oil gauge(Gauge was in the dash). To get home this guy plugged the oil-line with a small sick or branch that he found on the ground. The wiring was such a mess he sold the '67 Camaro and bought a VW Beetle. With an electric gauge when the wire comes off the sender the gauge peeks, or one of the others comes off and the gauge goes dead.
The only way I'd convert a Carbed car back to F.I. is with a Body swap.
I have A Fuelie Fasty and a Carbed Square Both run fine and Both have gauges. Oil Temp gauge is the one that matters most to me. Using the Oil pressure sender that allows use of the stock oil pressure light makes the Oil presseure light more sensitive by a couple of pounds.
