I believe his problem was not one of being unable to turn the engine over with 
the starter, but rather one of a possible large current draw even after the key 
was returned from the START position.

My impression is that he found a wiring problem somewhere and this problem is 
now fixed. I think the engine turns over fine, but now we're on to the next 
problem, which I can't seem to remember.
