re:clock repair

Sorry I forgot about the archives.

I checked them out, and figured out to remove the back, I needed to break a
little piece of plastic. I guess I voided my warranty.

So I have it open, and I imagine there is some part that needs to be lubed
up, but I can't figure it out. I thought maybe some sewing machine oil would
be good for these little parts. I read somewhere about "WD-40 and some rapid
twisting to and fro", but the only part I see to move, is the circular disk
with the spring and contacts on them. It doesn't appear to be something I
can twist and turn rapidly.

Side note:It looks cool as hell when it is running.
