Your 23 miles/US Gal sounds pretty normal.

As you can see, my warm weather average is just a bit over your 23 at 24.3 mpg. You will also see pretty wide fluctations tank to tank with a high near 29 and a low close to 14. really depends on type of driving, weather, filling variation, grade (slope of ground) of filling station, lots of things.

Best to calculate fuel economy over several tanks of fuel to get a decent average.
