Sounds good. I gather that the Marine Clean didn't eat up the brass screen. That screen is important and is often overlooked. > on that note... is the fuel damper really just an empty chewing tobacco > can with two fuel ports on it? or is mine eroded and now empty? I cut apart one a few years ago just to see. It was rusted thru, so it was already a total loss. There was nothing inside it at all. I really don't see what usefulness it might have. The only way it might damp anything would be if you could position it such that there was a persistent air bubble in it, but I can't imagine such a bubble remaining there for long. Otherwise, the rubber hose is more resilient than the steel can, so the hose itself is a better damper. OTOH, I keep putting them back in my cars.... -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
