Yes, it is. The hex portion is thinner yet, and the bore in the center
has a pretty good taper to it back about 3/16". I suppose that this
taper is to help get the locator on the torque converter started, since
the T-1 engine typically has to start in at an angle, where the T-3
engine can be started pretty square with the trans.
