Any my hat's off to Chris, too, for being detail oriented enough to follow this thru. I suspect you'll find the cause of your differing parking light. Keep in mind that if this is a '65, then, if I've followed this thread well enough, it may well be a european version, for which both parking lights should stay ON with the headlights. IOW, the light that now goes out may be the faulty one, not the other way around. > A big thanks to both Jim and especially Chris for the help. Jim I hope > you didn't start working on the switch. :-o If so email me. Don't worry, I haven't touched it, and now I think I know what year it is from, which is good. I may still have to take it apart, because there appears to be at least one bad connection in it. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
