Just ordered the Velleman part at designnotes.com, part K2599, for 
$24.18, so will have more to tell once it arrives...be aware that 
designnotes.com adds $5.00 to any order under their $25..00 "minimum 
order" amount, so it was cheaper to add on four $0.40 alligator clips to 
my order...total was $33.86 with $8.08 shipping included in that total.

I've looked closely at the web references that Mike Elliott included in 
his message after printing them out (worth doing...allows you to look 
from wire 39a on one page to 39a on the other)...I'd love to do a whole 
schematic of the motor/wiring/switch/wiring/velleman board, and may by 
the time I'm all done...the "black boxes" of the "wiper motor", "wiper 
switch", and "wiper delay circuit" in his "modified wiper wiring 
diagram" would yield up their "logic" that way.
