Keith, if you are having problems with clearing the carb's passages try using a sonic cleaner on the carb. I have been using one for about a year and have had very good luck with it clearing the small passages, of course take it apart and put it in the sonic cleaner in pieces. I put mine through the acid soak first then rinse them in water, then put them in the sonic cleaner for about thirty minutes, then blow dry them with high pressure air, you should see what comes out of them even after they have been in the acid bath.
