Ditch the 009... your timing curve is way off with that and may be part =
of the problem, you may be running too advanced at one part of the curve =
to make up for the retarded curve elsewhere.

I've saved my old FI distributor and just might go back to it eventually (it's been out of the car for 18 years, so I might need to get it rebuilt, or at least gone over  by someone who knows what they're doing), but in the short term I'm going to see if rejetting (and setting the timing based on max 32 advance) will bring the temp down.
