I know that buyers of newer cars can check something called Carfax and get some types of information about their car and see if there are problems with title or mileage etc. I tried that with my 71 Square and got nothing. It is probably just too old to be in their system. But,is there a place that may be specific for antiques or better yet, VW's that I might could check? The odometer on the 71 I just bought has 14,000 on it and it is in proper working order. The lady I bought it from says she almsot never used it since they bought it back in the 80's. That is why it was setting out behind their barn. So....sounds like I may have a really low mileage car but just wanted to check it out some other way if possible and not rely on just her word. Please let me know.
