The rear bump stops ('IRS') are also fitted to double-joint Beetles such as 1302S and 1303S (Super-Beetles in USA ?). They are readily available in the UK - are you sure they can't be got in the USA, Keith? 131 501 191 is the number, which is a super Beetle number. I made up a replacement 'mushroom' with an M12 bolt, a couple of nuts and some washers, all molded together with bondo to make the equivalent shape. I through-bolted it to the support. Others have bought a universal bump-stop from their FLAPS I believe. I think the 3 screw holes are more likely drain holes. Dave.
