It's very important to make SURE there is no power to the wiper motor before you get your hands in there. Just turning off the wiper switch is NOT enough, there is still power flowing to the parking switch. You must either remove the battery ground wire or unplug the wiper motor wiring harness, ALL of it. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
