My carbs seem to be allowing a dribble through the nozzles when the accelerator is released, so the engine takes a while to slow down again after a buirst of acceleration - I suspect blocked nozzles, but it might be some other problem, as the CO level doesn't change much from about 1.8% even when adjusting the mixture screw, yet the exhaust smells strongly - perhaps we've other problems - valves maybe? Everything's pointing towards some investigative surgery really. Dave.
