I think that 67-69 should drop right in, while the 70 units will need larger holes where the shafts come thru the body. This may seem like a pain, but it's a stronger and better design. > I have heard that you can by a conversion kit to modify the 6V motor > to 12V. Has anyone got any experience with this conversion? I've heard that some vendors at one time had a stock of 12V armatures that you could use to make this conversion. I've never done this and I'm surprised that the field winding doesn't also need to be changed. I think you're better off with a complete 12V motor. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
