Since there is more than one way to do this conversion, we can't tell from here which new part you would need, and it's also possible that the part you need is NLA new. I rebuild these regularly and a rebuild will cost you about $50, which is less than you would pay for a new one. A properly rebuilt OG MC will be at least as good as a new one, and possibly better. If it turns out that the MC you send me is not rebuildable, which is possible but unlikely, I would at least be able to tell you what you need to get your car back on the road. It is likely that I already have the necessary part here, but I can't tell without seeing what you have on there now. Please email me directly if you are interested. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
