Mine are 15" and I'm pretty sure they hit the seal or else come VERY close to
it. But this is my decision as I like to clear as much window real estate as
possible to get the clearest view I can...which means Bosch Micro-Edge blades
;-)
If you want to keep the outside metal part, the piece that holds the blade,
you can uncrimp the crimps(?) and slide in new blades. I've done that before
on one car or another.
