There is a market for Type 3 clocks to use in Buses, but I don't think they are the same part exactly. My bus was a '74 and had a blanking plate in the clock hole, but I reckon a black face Type 3 would have looked OK. I've still got a spare instrument dash pod - I'll offer up a Type 3 clock and see what it looks like. I doubt anyone would be going to the price that is/was without knowing what they were buying. I've emailed the seller to ask for any part number on the back, so might find out just for interest. Dave.
