With overheat, the problem is not that the stock cooling system is inadequate or wrongly designed, rather that something is out of spec and needs fixing.

If you're thinking that the oil cooler impedes air cooling of #3, it's just not a concern. It can rob some cooling air if, for example, the foam cooler seal is missing (and this is more a problem for the cooler than the head), but when it's all in spec it works just fine.
