Re: [T3] Turn signal indicators lights

<x-flowed>Hi all,

On the same subject: a friend of mine from our local VW club has a picture-perfect American spec 1973 fastback. I happened to notice that his pair of indicator lights are green. Mine are much lighter - more like yellow. Also my oil light is yellow, whereas in the books it is always described as being green.

Did they change the colour of these lights between 1969 and 1973, or have mine faded with age?

Thanks,

Daniel

I think all vw's did this for a long time, I remember a frined of mine with
a vw quantum wagon (from the 80's I think?) had this same feature.

when you
indicate that you will make a left or right turn, do both indicator
lights on the dash light up?

One of the other lists I am on, this was brought up as why you know you
are addicted to T-3's
You know you are a T-3 addict when: Both turn indicators come on, and
you know that that is normal.
