RE: [T3] what is good to protect a dash


I remember reading somewhere that Armor-all supposedly pulled the moisture
out of plastic/rubber-thereby giving it a shiny look, but over the long term
it dries the plastic/rubber out.

One suggestion I've been given over the years is to soak it in some
glycerin, which you should be able to get at a pharmacy. This was
recommended for gaskets-but I think it applied to all plastic/rubber type
things.

Hmmm... mines been armoralled for 10 years and still only has one crack.  My
Opels was amoralled for 25 years and never cracked....
