The only systems that are compatable with the 5-pin TVS are the 72 and 73. 
Those years use the early and late brains respectively and the E PS. Of those, 
I recommend the 73. The D brain is from late 70.5 & 71.

I'm in the process of setting up to try to recalibrate PSs which have been 
tampered with. I also have good used ones here, but there's no reason why a 
tampered one should not be restorable. OTOH, I really havn't done one yet, so I 
may be leaning more on wishful thinking than foresight here.

If you were willing to send me your PS, I might be willing to make you my beta 
site, but I really have to try this with some I have here first.

And the actuating arm on that vac can should have 505 stamped in it.
