Yes, those will do. They are just universal plates to cover a variety of styles which VW used over the years. The actual plate sold by VW is just diamond shaped, as are the gaskets in your kit which will work here. > What would be a good way to conduct a leakdown test on the injectors? > Stick 'em in mason jars while hooked up to the fuel loop and pressurize > the line? The specs say that they should only drip one or 2 drops a minute when pressurized and not energized. I've never found that following this helped anything, however. The only time I've ever replaced injectors was when they had large visible leaks that weren't cured by either replacing the hose or letting them sit (in the car) with gasoline in them. (The latter applies to cars left undriven for years.) -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
