When I switched from the Webers (without the tin) to stock '67 Solexes I used FI tin because that's what I was able to find. It was a tight fit but it did fit. By the way, I pulled the 009 and installed the stock '68 FI distributor. The stock distributor provides much smoother acceleration. It is a lot more comfortable to drive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
