[T3] FI a little rich.

My son's 69 SB is doing well. We ran a full tank of gas through and kept
track (once we had put in a later speedo with tripmeter), and it's getting
17.5 mpg (all of it around town driving). It starts with a little bit of a
loapy idle, as if it's too rich and after about 2-4 minutes starts running
totally smooth.

My think is that temp sensor I, is not working or perhaps has a bad
connection to the control unit.
The fact that the loapy idle goes away so quickly to me would indicate that
the other temp sensor on the head is warming up and working properly. The
sensor that's in the case should warm up as the oil comes up to temp which
would take a little longer, but doesn't seem to happen.

I checked the pressure sensor and I'm pretty confident that it has not been
messed with. My think is that we should get 22-25 mpg around town. Does
that sound right?

Any pointers or things to check would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim Showker
