I didn't see any wire on the cylinders to indicate installation of the
lower T3 "cool tin". I've only seen that tin installed with wire to
hold it to the engine but since I haven't seen that many engines it
could be held in there by other means. Do you have that tin installed?



The cool tins on Sophy's engine actually snapped in onto the head studs. Definitely didn't need to wire them in. Are there different styles or are you refering to the small square piece of tin on the Type 1 engines? I seem to remember that one snapping in too.
