and dirt).  I am getting the shrouds and tins sandblasted.  Can anyone
suggest a primer and paint for the aluminum and the steel shroud parts?

I would suggest you look for a powder coating firm in your area. You might find that you can get the parts powder coated for not much more than blasting would cost and blasting is often part of the standard procedure.
