Re: [T3] stuck gas gauge

>>>can it be fixed?<<<
My square has been sitting for 11 years and the gauge didn't work because
of varnish in the sender tube / float. I removed the assembly from the tank
and soaked it upright in kerosene for days...I would go to it everyday and
pull it out of the solvent and let it drain, then reinsert and let it fill
back up again....did this a bunch of times to flush it out.....This worked
well for me and my gauge seems to be working good.....this also allowed me
access to see down into the tank, right where the fuel lines exit and enter
the tank so I could flush out the tank as well and do a visual till
clean!......sounds like you will be flushing out your tank as well......
