What's the hydraulic clutch job like? My mechanic seemed to think
there wasn't room in the front on a T-3 to do a hydraulic clutch.

Has anyone installed this SaCo Hydraulic clutch kit?

Check Chirco.com They might be cheaper than 200.00

Hmm, I only found these two:

while they're $160.00 they seem more setup for sand rails, ie separate floor mounted.
Would love to hear how others have done this in a type 3.. I know from the archives that
at least Brian Fye has done a hydraulic clutch. Did folks have to cut through the front
to make room for a master cylinder?

I'm going to try to get the installation instructions for the SaCo kit, from ISP West,
but from what I can tell so far it looks like the master cylinder might go inside the tube.

and this was interesting on the SaCo kit:

"Evidently the master cylinder can be installed through the access hatch at the front of the tunnel and uses the stock clutch cable lever to hook up to." from: http://www.type34.org/forum/viewtopic.php? forum=4&showtopic=1638&lastpost=true
