No, it's to run the Peltier (or is it Seebeck?) cooler from time to time, and give us some light in the tent when camping, without the threat of a dead battery in the morning. We only camp now at VW events, not for pleasure. ;-) If I had a loud sound system, I would need the second battery to provide the power for that so I could really pxxx off the other campers without risking having to ask them to give me a push start in the morning. ;-) No offence intended to anyone, unless they keep me awake with loud music on a campsite.
