If it was just age and a resulting set, then readjusting to the stock angles should put it back right, since any set would move the zero point, too. I know you had trouble, too, Keith, and I'll admit to being puzzled by it. My best guess is still that if setting it by the angles doesn't cure it, then there is something wrong with the torsion bar that has reduced its spring rate.
